1930s vintage lace handkerchief with handmade drawn thread lace handiwork.
This particular type of lace is known as drawn-thread lace. It was started as one solid piece of fabric, and the maker very patiently removed threads from the cloth to create the detailed, patterned holes. Each individual hole was then individually embroidered on all sides.
This vintage handkerchief can be used for a variety of purposes. It can be tucked away in a bridal gown for use during vows or included as an accessory in hairstyles, bridal bouquets or in wedding decor. Our customers love giving them as a gift to loved ones, to a new bride, a mother of the bride, or to their bridesmaids.
